Dewan VS Group of Institutions collaborated with Meerut Management Association for opening of Student Chapter of MMA to mutually assist, promote and encourage student development in terms of managerial skills, decision making and leadership abilities.
The event was co-ordinated by Entrepreneurship Cell- Swavalamban-The Inventor’s lounge.
This collaboration will promote startups, live business project and incubation support for the student community. It will support MMA with the talent pool of students for their business meets and workshops.
The event witnessed the footfall of 200+ audience including industrialists, business owners, entrepreneurs, academicians, media officials and students.
Mr. Vievek Dewan, Chairman- DVSGI graced the event with his valuable presence and appreciated the exchange of synergies in terms of opportunities and skills for the students as well as the industry.
Col.(Dr) Naresh Goyal, Executive Director- DVSGI, welcomed the esteemed guests and gave a brief overview about the institution and its vision.
Dr. Poonam Devdutt, President and Council MMA, gave an overview about the working of MMA and it’s message.
Ms. Shruti Arora, President CEE and Advisor – DVSGI talked about the importance of brainstorming, learning through the industry experts to imbibe qualities like Flexibility, leadership traits, Team work and continuous learning efforts.
Mr. Vivek Kwatra, Faculty coordinator-DVSGI E-Cell threw light on the aim of Entrepreneurship cell and it’s vision to make students industry ready in their academic years.
The business fraternity that participated in today’s event was from major corporates of Meerut having businesses at national and international level. Sh Trilok Anand ji from Sansperils Greenland (SG) a major international sports company of Meerut shared his views on the need of new startups in this region and appreciated the mission of Dewan VS Group Entrepreneurship Cell in this regard. He even acknowledged to be the Shark for upcoming contest of DVSGI E Cell.
Sh Abhay Dayal Ji from Dayal Fertilizers was very enthusiastic about this collaboration between Dewan VS Group of Institutions and Meerut Management Association and shared his vision of promoting Incubators and startup culture in the academia.
Ms Isha, Ms Oneeka, Mr Aaquib, Mr Kartik did an exemplary job in coordinating the event. Mr Yalish Hashmi – Media coordinator was present in the event. Bipasha, Radha, Swati, Prerna, Pranshu drew an eye-catching rangoli for welcoming the guests and Harshita, Ankita and Shivani coordinated the event to make it a successful one.
Dr Shilpi Bansal, Dr Rajeev Kumar, Dr BalwinderBedi, Dr Shuchi Sharma, Dr SP Singh, Dr Ratan Sahu, Dr Shashank Mishra (Directors of various colleges)also graced the event and Prof Mandakini Kapoor and Dr Geetika Shukla supported in the execution of the program.
